You find the hiring and exit date on the staff edit page on the working hours tab.
Hiring Date
If the hiring date is in the current year, vacation entitlement will be calculated accordingly and the flex time balance starts at this date. If the hiring date is not in the current it doesn’t have any effect.
Exit Date
When adding staff exit date the user will be automatically deactivated on that date. If the user was deactivated, all admins will receive a notification email.
You can only add an exit date if the user
- does not owns a recurring invoice
- is not a project manager or substitute project manager of a active project
- is not a department leader
