Manage when you want to set the flextime account back to zero. In general, positive balances are closed with a bonus or payout, while negative ones require special actions. Flextime reset can occur annually/monthly/weekly and be based on your choice, it’s completed automatically on the first business day of every year/month/week.
If you are using Extra Overtime (Überzeit) for Switzerland, then the Extra-Overtime will be reseted together with the flex-time balance.
You can choose between 4 rules:
1. Start of each month
We will report on the last day of the month all minus or plus hours to each employee payroll report and reset the flextime hours back to 0.
2. Start of each quarter
We will report on the last day of the quarter all minus or plus hours to each employee payroll report and reset the flextime hours back to 0.
3. Start of each year
We will report on the last day of the year all minus or plus hours to each employee payroll report and reset the flextime hours back to 0.
4. Customized (see the screenshot below)
If the input field is empty, then there is no fixed reset point for the flextime balance.
You can set any date to reset all flextime accounts back to zero.
The actual flextime balance hours will be included in the payroll report.
If you want to reset the individual flextime account for a specific employee, please do it on the staff page.
